Reworked Game Structure Objective: To come up with innovative marketing strategies and ideas to achieve specific goals. Components: Goal Cards: Cards with specific objectives or KPIs related to marketing. Prompt Cards: Cards with various prompts that can spark creative marketing ideas. Setup: The facilitator is chosen and rotates each round. Goal Cards and Prompt Cards are shuffled into separate decks. Gameplay: Facilitator's Role: Draws three Goal Cards at the beginning of each round. Chooses one Goal Card and places it face up in the middle of the table. Player Turns: Each player draws six Prompt Cards. Players then select the best pair or trio of Prompt Cards that they feel best achieve the displayed Goal Card. (Using three Prompt Cards can earn bonus points for complexity and creativity.) Each player quickly pitches their idea, explaining how their chosen Prompt Cards would effectively meet the goal. Voting: After all pitches have been made, players (excluding the pitch presenter) vote on their favorite idea or pitch. The facilitator can also vote. Players cannot vote for their own pitch. The idea with the most votes wins the round. Scoring: Points are awarded based on the number of votes received. Bonus points are awarded for using a trio of Prompt Cards. Rotation and Repeat: The role of the facilitator rotates to the next player. The game continues with new rounds, following the same structure. Winning: The game can be played for a set number of rounds, or until a player reaches a predetermined point total. The player with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner. Educational and Fun: This game not only fosters creativity and strategic thinking but also serves as an educational tool, helping players understand various marketing concepts and tactics in a fun, engaging environment. This structure encourages quick thinking, creativity, and a bit of competitive fun, making it an ideal activity for teams looking to enhance their marketing skills and collaboration.
